Barcelona sporting director Deco says Ferran Torres wanted to leave the club before completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window.
The Spanish forward switched Barcelona for PSG, with the Catalan club receiving about 50 million euros for his transfer.
Torres spent four years at Barcelona, playing for the club from 2022 to 2026. He made 207 appearances, scoring 65 goals and providing 23 assists.
The 26-year-old has made an immediate impact at Paris Saint-Germain, scoring five goals in his first four appearances for the club.
