Arsenal secured a 1-0 away victory over Nottingham Forest in the seventh round of the Premier League, with Chukwunonso Madueke scoring the only goal of the match.
The two sides contested control throughout the game, but neither could turn its attacking play into a breakthrough for long periods. Nottingham Forest looked to make home advantage count, while Arsenal searched for a way through their opponents’ defence.
The decisive moment came in the 80th minute. Declan Rice provided the assist for Chukwunonso Madueke, who converted to put the visitors ahead.
That goal proved enough to settle the match, giving Arsenal a narrow victory.
