Bendel Insurance remain focused on their objectives in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) despite their 3-0 away defeat by Abia Warriors, according to media officer Kehinde Osagiede.
Osagiede said the Benin Arsenal were determined to recover from the setback and continue their pursuit of maximum points where possible.
“I am very optimistic that Bendel Insurance will make a positive impact in the NPFL this ongoing season. Our aim is to remain focused and pick up the maximum points where necessary,” he told Completesports.com.
The result against Abia Warriors was a heavy setback for Bendel Insurance, but Osagiede believes the team’s response will demonstrate its character and determination during the campaign.
“There will always be ups and downs, but our ability to rise up will definitely show the determination from the team,” he added.
Bendel Insurance face another demanding test in their next fixture against Barau FC, who go into the match on an unbeaten run in the league.
The Benin club will be aiming to return to winning ways quickly as they look to maintain their focus on their primary objectives for the NPFL season.
