Bayern Munich set a new Bundesliga record after beating RB Leipzig 6-1, becoming the first side to score 18 goals in its opening three home matches of a season.
The six-goal victory followed wins over Stuttgart, who were beaten 5-1, and Union Berlin, who lost 7-0.
Bayern’s next Bundesliga fixture is against Freiburg on Sunday, 25 October. Freiburg suffered their first defeat of the season in the previous round but remain among the top three sides in the table.
