Arsenal are expected to return with a new offer for Bayer Leverkusen and England defender Jarell Quansah in January after failing to sign him during the summer transfer window.
The Premier League club offered 65 million euros for the 23-year-old in August, but the proposal was rejected by Bayer Leverkusen, according to information shared on social media by Ekrem Konur.
Arsenal are now expected to make another approach in the winter window. Chelsea are also reported to be competing with the current Premier League champions for Quansah’s signature.
Quansah has been with Bayer Leverkusen since last summer and is under contract until the end of June 2030.
He has made four Bundesliga appearances this season and has provided one assist.
