Anthony Oyono has committed his future to Frosinone by signing a new contract that runs until 30 June 2029.
The Gabon international joined the Italian club in January 2022 from Boulogne and has since established himself as an important part of the team. His latest agreement confirms Frosinone’s long-term plans for the right-back.
Oyono’s agent discussed the background to the extension in an interview with Maghreb-Foot, explaining the reasons behind the Italian club’s decision to continue with the 25-year-old.
The defender is now clear about his future and is approaching the coming months with the aim of helping Frosinone remain at the highest level of Italian football. His club commitment is also matched by continued ambitions with the Gabon national team.
Oyono was already a key figure when Frosinone secured promotion to the top flight. He has maintained that importance this season, recording one assist in seven appearances.
Born in Lille, the right-back will now look to build on his progress as Frosinone pursue their objectives in the Italian championship.
Their next fixture will come in the seventh round of the league, when Frosinone face Sassuolo. The published 1xbet odds list a Frosinone victory at 2.25, a draw at 3.60 and a Sassuolo win at 2.55.
