AC Milan lead Salzburg 3-0 in their second Europa League match, with Alphadjo Cisse’s clinical finishing proving decisive for the Rossoneri.
Cisse scored twice before half-time to put the Italian side in a commanding position. The forward then completed his hat-trick early in the second half, extending AC Milan’s advantage just as Salzburg appeared ready to push back into the contest.
The move began when the Rossoneri stopped an attack from the Austrian side and quickly broke forward. Adrien Rabiot drove down the left before delivering an inviting cross into the area.
Cisse arrived at the right moment and struck the ball firmly beyond the Salzburg defence to complete his treble.
The goal has seemingly ended Salzburg’s resistance, leaving them needing a dramatic response to get back into the match.
