Alexis Mac Allister has scored all eight of his UEFA Champions League goals at Liverpool’s Anfield, setting a record for the most goals by a player in the competition at one stadium.
The Argentina midfielder scored twice in Liverpool’s Champions League match against Villarreal, taking his total in the competition to eight.
No player in Champions League history has scored more goals at a single ground than Mac Allister has at Anfield. His unusual record means every one of his goals in the tournament has come at Liverpool’s home stadium.
Mac Allister joined Liverpool in 2023 after winning the World Cup with Argentina. Before moving to Anfield, he played in the Premier League for Brighton & Hove Albion, known as the Seagulls.
