Super Eagles forward Akor Adams is set to work under a new manager after Venezia reportedly reached an agreement to appoint Davide Nicola as head coach.
Nicola is expected to replace Giovanni Stroppa, with the change coming before Italian Serie A action resumes this weekend.
The appointment will give Adams the chance to make an early impression on the incoming manager as he adjusts to a different tactical approach.
The Nigerian forward will also be looking to consolidate his place in the team while maintaining his form and continuing his progress in Italian football.
Nicola’s arrival is therefore likely to draw attention to Adams’ role at Venezia as the striker begins a new chapter under the club’s next manager, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
