Ajibade, Nnadozie and Alozie join Nigeria camp for Comoros Olympic qualifier

Nigeria captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and defender Michelle Alozie have joined the Super Falcons squad in Ijebu Ode ahead of their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying tie against Comoros.

Midfielder Jennifer Echegini and forward Folashade Ijamilusi have also reported for duty, taking the number of players in camp to 22.

Four players are still expected to arrive: Comfort Erhabor, Gift Monday, Joy Omewa and Uchenna Kanu.

The Super Falcons will hold another training session at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode on Wednesday evening as preparations continue for the opening match.

Comoros arrived in Ijebu Ode on Monday and completed their first training session on Tuesday night ahead of the first leg.

The fixture had originally been scheduled to take place in Comoros, but it will now be played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo on Friday, with kick-off at 18:00.

The return match is also set to be played at the same venue next Tuesday.
