Former Plateau United midfielder Kazeem Adeyanju has joined South African Premier Soccer League club Stellenbosch on a free transfer.
The Nigerian midfielder, who played for Plateau United in the Nigeria Premier Football League last season, has been cleared to represent Stellenbosch during the 2026/27 campaign.
Stellenbosch confirmed the move after completing all the required formalities last month.
“Adeyanju Kazeem, who most recently plied his trade in the Nigerian PFL with Plateau United,” has joined the club, Stellenbosch said in an announcement.
Adeyanju becomes the fifth Nigerian player to represent Stellenbosch. He follows Stanley Dimgba, Ibraheem Jabaar, Kazie Enyinnaya and Olisa Ndah.
The 2026/27 season will see Adeyanju wear the number 29 shirt for the South African club.
He could make his debut on Tuesday evening, when Stellenbosch face Kaizer Chiefs in the Betway Premiership.
