Ademola Ola-Adebomi, the England and Nigeria centre-forward, has joined Belgian club KSC Lokeren from Austrian Bundesliga side WSG Tirol.
The 23-year-old has agreed a contract with Lokeren until 30 June 2028 and will wear the number 20 shirt for the Challenger Pro League club. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.
Ola-Adebomi arrives in Belgium after just over a year with WSG Tirol, having joined the Austrian club from Crystal Palace’s under-21 side in July 2025. His time in Austria included an appearance in the Bundesliga and a goal in the OFB-Cup during the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign.
The forward started and scored in WSG Tirol’s only recorded OFB-Cup match this season, while he also played in the Bundesliga. His performances included 58 minutes in the cup, where he found the net, and a league appearance.
Lokeren becomes the latest stage in a career that has included spells in England, Belgium and Austria. Ola-Adebomi initially progressed from Crystal Palace’s under-18 team to their under-21 side in 2022 before gaining senior experience away from the club.
He spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Burton Albion, returning to Palace’s development squad at the end of that campaign. In August 2024, he moved to SK Beveren on another loan, remaining there until January 2025.
Ola-Adebomi then returned to Palace’s under-21 team before making the switch to WSG Tirol as a free transfer in July 2025. His move to Lokeren now takes him back to Belgium, where he previously played for Beveren.
The 1.95m forward is left-footed and plays primarily as a centre-forward. He also holds both English and Nigerian nationality and was born in London on 3 September 2003.
His career honours include winning the Premier League International Cup once with Crystal Palace’s development setup. At Lokeren, he joins a club competing in Belgium’s second tier and begins a contract that runs through the end of June 2028.
Ola-Adebomi has completed his move from WSG Tirol to KSC Lokeren on 3 September 2026.
