AC Milan’s Warren Bondo rejects two Turkish offers before January

Warren Bondo is expected to remain at AC Milan until at least the January transfer window after rejecting two concrete proposals from clubs in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been under pressure to leave the Italian club, with AC Milan’s management actively seeking a solution that would reduce the size of the squad and allow the club to adjust its sporting plans before the end of the transfer market.

However, Bondo has so far refused to let the club determine his next move. The player, who was born in Evry and is of Democratic Republic of the Congo origin, is understood to be unwilling to rush into a transfer unless the sporting project matches his own ambitions.

His stance has complicated AC Milan’s efforts to complete a late move. Despite the persistence of potential suitors in Turkey, and repeated attempts by the Rossoneri hierarchy to persuade him to accept a departure, Bondo has turned down both offers presented to him.

The former Monza player has instead chosen stability and appears ready to continue his development within the AC Milan squad. Unless there is a late change in the situation, he will stay in Lombardy for the next few months before reassessing his position when the transfer market reopens in January.

Bondo’s decision gives him additional time to demonstrate his qualities in training and strengthen his case within the squad. It also allows him to consider his future more carefully rather than committing to a move under pressure at the end of the current window.

AC Milan had hoped to find an exit for the midfielder as part of its efforts to streamline the group and refine its sporting strategy. The club’s preference was to reach an agreement before the market closed, but Bondo’s rejection of the two Turkish proposals means that plan has not yet been achieved.

For now, the player’s position is clear: he does not intend to accept just any destination. Unless another development emerges at the last minute, Bondo will remain an AC Milan player until at least January, when he will have another opportunity to evaluate the options available to him.
