New Abia Warriors coach Imama Amapakabo is excited about his new venture but for the pitch.
Amapakabo revealed that a few people close to him had initially raised concerns over the playing pitch.
”The challenge in all honesty that, everybody has posted to me is one thing, our playing turf, that’s why when I came around.
“I started working around the pitch to feel the turf and see how it is because, even the laws of the game, FIFA says, the pitch, we have to try to see how best we can to manage this turf," he added.
Meanwhile the LMC and NFF are yet to propose the start date of the 2020/21 NPFL season post Covid-19.
