Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Ikorodu City Football Club announced that it has "parted company" with their coach, Abiodun Obafemi (MON).
The club in a release on Saturday revealed that the coach who has spent only a season with them will not be their coach for the new NNL season.
"Ikorodu City Football Club has today parted company with Head coach Abiodun Obafemi (MON)," According to a release on the club's website.
The management of the club further thanked the coach for his time at the club, keeping them in the NNL and wishing him great tidings for the future.
"The management of the club on behalf of everyone working for its progress, will like to place on record its profound gratitude to Abiodun for his time with the club."
The club says "There will be no further comments from the club on this until a new manager is announced."
