Nigeria’s Under-23 team have begun training at the Remo Stars sports complex as preparations gather pace for the forthcoming Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The squad’s arrival at the facility in Ikenne, Ogun State, marks the opening stage of its qualification campaign. The coaching staff will use the camp to assess the players and shape a competitive side capable of securing Nigeria’s place in the continental tournament.

Work during the training sessions will focus on several key areas, including the players’ physical condition, their tactical understanding and the coordination required ahead of the decisive qualifying matches.

With qualification for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations at stake, Nigeria’s players will aim to maximise the value of their time together and build the cohesion needed to compete against their opponents.

The Remo Stars sports complex will serve as the team’s training base as the players prepare for the demands of their next assignment.
