Nigeria National League side, Ijebu United has appointed Coach Michael Shoniregun as the club's new Coach days after the departure of Coach Anthony Encho, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Ogun State based club announced on Saturday through its social media handles that Shoniregun will join the club on interim basis.
The news comes after the club and Encho parted ways following strings of poor performances which leave them 8 on the Conference B log of the NNL with 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 loses prior to the match day 7 fixtures.
Shoniregun who has been with United over the years coached Almar FC, Lisabi United and had a stint with Vandrezzer FC before teaming up with Ijebu United since 2021/2022 football season.
