Reports surfaced last month that West Ham contacted City about a potential £20million deal for the Nigeria international.

Hammers manager Slaven Bilic is desperate to add more firepower to his squad this summer.

But Iheanacho has refused to be drawn into the transfer speculation, claiming he's happy to fight for his place at the Etihad.

Kelechi Iheanacho has fallen out of favour under Pep Guardiola Speaking to the BBC World Football podcast, the 20-year-old said: "I don't know about that news. All I know is that I'm still at Manchester City.

"I'm still a Manchester City player so all the news that's going on about teams wanting to buy me, I try not to know about that.

"People will go on holiday and we will see. It's not only me that hasn't been playing, there's other players.

"The manager rotates the players and squad so that everyone gets game time. So I shouldn't be complaining that I'm not getting games.
