‘Iheanacho needs to play more’ Former Liverpool Star Advices Super Eagle forward to join Everton

Nigeria international, Kelechi Iheanacho, has been advised to leave Leicester City for a more playing time.

The Super Eagles striker  struggling for a place in the team has an average playing minutes of 17 in his nineteen premier league appearances this season one of which he fractured in the starting XI.

Iheanacho has found the net more times (five) during March 2021 alone than he has in the last 20 months altogether. He is then advised by former Liverpool midfielder, Danny Murphy, to consider a move away from Leicester City.

“I think he’s got to play more,” Murphy told talkSPORT, via HITC.

“I like Iheanacho. Iheanacho gets goals. I know he’s a bit unorthodox in the way he plays but he gets goals.

“He’d do for Everton, Iheanacho. You leave him up there, get the ball to him and he’ll get you goals.”

Leicester paid £25 million to sign Iheanacho from Man City back in 2017. His contract, meanwhile, has just over a year-and-a-half to run.
