Olasunkanmi Ibrahim Olawoyin score his first goal for his new club, Caykur Rizespor AS in their emphatic win on Saturday against Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkish Lig One, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Rizespor outwitted Yeni Malatyaspor by five goals to one to increase the promotion challenge and move to fifth on the log with 37pts in 21 games.
It was Olawoyin first for Rizespor, after his January move from Ankara Keçiorengucu where he already had seven assists and four goals.
The former Enugu Rangers left foot shot went perfectly to the bottom corner to give the home side the lead in the 20th minute.
Former Everton star Yannick Bolasie made it two in the 30th minute as Ugandan star Farouk Miya scored the third at the start of the second phase of the game.
Bolasie scored his second goal in the 63rd minute before Alper Potuk put the game beyond Malatyaspor in the 75th minute. Mert Miraç Altintas scored the consolation goal the dead of regulation time.
Olawoyin and his Nigerian compatriot, Okechukwu Azubuike who were both replaced in the 75th minute will travel with Rizespor to Samsunspor for a date with the league leaders on Saturday.
