Fulham have signed Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson on loan until the end of the season, with the 22-year-old Sweden international moving to London to continue his career in the English Premier League.
Larsson’s arrival was confirmed by Fulham’s club media department. The midfielder will spend the remainder of the current campaign with the Premier League club after leaving Eintracht Frankfurt on a temporary basis.
The move gives Fulham an additional midfield option as they look to improve their results at the beginning of the English season. After two league matches, Fulham have yet to collect a point and sit 16th in the table.
Larsson joins the club after making 25 Bundesliga appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt during the previous campaign. He scored twice and registered two assists during that season.
The Sweden midfielder’s performances in Germany earned him a move to Fulham, where he will now compete for a place in the side during the rest of the current campaign. His loan agreement runs through to the end of the season, with no further details about the transfer announced in the club’s confirmation.
Fulham’s early position in the table means the club will be seeking a change in momentum during the matches ahead.
