Henry Onyekuru scores in Al Fayha ACL away win

Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru was on the score sheet for Al Fayha in their AFC Champions League away win over Pakhtakor at the Bunyodkor Stadium on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports

Al Fayha came from behind to beat their host and reach the next round of the competition after finishing as runners-up in group A.

Pakhtakor"s captain, Dragan Ceran after a beautiful display chipped the goalkeeper to put his side ahead 10 minutes into the encounter.

After the host could not make use of the momentum gained following missed chances, Fashion Sakala restored parity for the visiting team after connecting to Sultan Mandash's corner 5 minutes before the end of the first phase.

Sultan Mandash gave Fayha the lead for the first time in the game a minute into additional time before the end of the first half.

While Pakhtakor pushed for the equaliser, substitute Onyekuru doubled the lead for Fayha in the 58 minute.

The Nigerian collected Rakan Kaabi’s pass before the halfway line and embarked on a solo run before applying a composed finish to put the game beyond Pakhtakor.

Sakala's aplomb 4 minutes at the additional time put the icing on the cake Al Fayha's victory giving them nine points which takes them into the Round of 16 as one of the three best second-placed teams in the West Zone.
