Hearts striker Gilbert Fiamenyo mobbed by fans after two-goal heroics against Crystal Palace

Striker Gilbert Fiamenyo was mobbed by fans following his two-goal heroics as Hearts of Oak thumped Crystal Palace 5-0 in a friendly match on Sunday.

The burly striker scored in the 24^th and 40^th minute respectively to the delight of the local fans in the game played at Akosombo.

The match against the third tier side forms part of the team’s intensive preparations ahead of the start of the Ghana Premier League on January 17.

Fiamenyo was prevented by a massive crowd of fans from leaving the stadium as many of them wanted to take memorable photographs with the ex Ghana U23 star.

Fiamenyo’s brace on Sunday signals the striker’s return to form which will be crucial for the Phobians at the commencement of the Ghanaian top flight.
