Liberty Professionals captain Kennedy Ashia has confirmed he will not renew his contract with the capital-based side.
The 22-year-old has spent most of his career at the club, leading them to 5th position at the end of the campaign.
The former Ghana Under-20 midfielder wants to seek a new challenge elsewhere after confirming his departure from the club.
“I will not be staying at Liberty for next season. As a player, you have to move for a new challenge and try to enjoy what the sport comes with whilst you are in the limelight because there is no pension scheme for footballers in this country.” he told Solar FM
Ashia has been linked with a move to several clubs including giants Kotoko, Hearts and Ashantigold.
