Hearts stop-gap coach Eddie Ansah insists the side will thrive without potential duo Abdoulaye Soulama and Foovi Aguidi ahead of their crucial penultimate League match against Berekum Chelsea.

Soulama, a Burkinabe and Togolese Aguidi are on international duty with their respective native countries in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Aguidi could return in time for the must-win game as Togo travel to Djibouti for their second group game on Friday but doubt hangs over Soulama’s availability.

But interim coach Eddie Ansah is unperturbed about the potential absence of the two players for the game against the Blues.

“Football is a team game. Soulama will be out because he is on national duty; Foovi too has gone but we believe he

[Agudi] will be coming before our next game,” Ansah told the club’s official website.

“They play on Friday so he is likely to report on Saturday. We will definitely have Foovi around but for Soulama, I don’t think we will have him around.”

“But I think we have others around to do the job for us.”
