Hearts defender Robin Gnage says he’s in the dark over reports linking him to Kotoko, insisting he will sign a new deal with the Accra-based side.
The 24-year-old has consistently been linked with a move to Kumasi as his contract nears expiration.
A deal to extend his contract has stalled over the last couple of weeks to heighten speculation about his long-term future at the club.
But the Ivoria import has moved quickly to water down on the reports insisting he will not sign for Kotoko but rather focused on extending his stay in Accra.
“I have also heard in the news but nobody at Kotoko has spoken to me,” he said
“I have no plans of leaving Hearts. I want to assure the supporters that I will sign a new contract with Hearts.
“You expect people to speculate on such matters but I’m focused on Hearts. I don’t think my future lies in Kotoko.”
Gnage has been one of the standout performers for the side since he joined from Red Bull Academy, earning the faith of the club to handed the captain’s armband.
