Hearts defender Philip Boampong has urged fans to be patient following their difficult start to the season.
Hearts are locked up in the relegation trap zone after a rather disappointing start to the season.
The Phobians have struggled for form in the early stages of the campaign as they languish on 15th position on the log sheet.
The former African champions have picked up a paltry eight points from eight games and faces a daunting task of reclaiming the Ghana Premier League crown this term.
The club’s teeming supporters are seething with rage over the latest string of poor results but defender Philip Boampong is calling for calm.
“We’re in a difficult period and will urge the supporters to be patient with us,” he told Oman FM
“Things are not going according to plan but we’ll bounce back strongly.
“It’s only a matter of time before we get our groove back on track. We understand how the supporters are feeling but they must bear with us.
The capital-based will hope to bounce back against high-flying Aduana Stars on Wednesday after going down 1-0 at Heart of Lions over the weekend.
