Hearts chief Gerald Ankrah has attributed the side’s stuttering domestic form to poor officiating.
Hearts have endured a difficult campaign this term which sees them lie at a disappointing 12th position on the league standings.
Their FA Cup defeat to Medeama has piled up misery for under-fire coach Herbert Addo, whose future has now been left in the hands of the club’s board.
But the club’s General manager Gerald Ankrah, who has backed the under-siege trainer, has blamed their downward spiral on biased officiating.
“It’s obvious we have issues with refereeing in this country. Not only with Hearts of Oak but generally, refereeing has not been too good,” he told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM
“Again let me repeat that I read something attributed to Bashir Hayford that suggested that some referees come into the game with the result in their pockets.
“I subscribe to that view because our last game against Hasaacas showed that it’s possible.
“They came with an agenda. If you see the sort of goals scored, you will have no doubt in your mind that they came in with the result well wrapped in their pocket.”
Hearts travel to Dorma to face fourth-placed Aduana Stars on Sunday.
