The Nigeria Football Federation Referees Unit has stepped down the center referee in charge of Heartland’s 2-1 win over Shooting Stars Sports Club from the league.
Kolawole from Kwara State was deemed to be awarded penalties that went contrary to the provision of the laws of the game.
While the referee assessor Referee Assessor, Joshua Amao also from Kwara was sanctioned for failing to report the anomaly of the centre referee.
