Ghanaian midfielder Abubakar Mumuni missed out on promotion to the South African Premier Soccer League with Black Leopards.
Lidoda Duvha were piped to the promotion ticket on goal difference by Mamelodi Sundowns who beat Moroka Swallows 1-0 at Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday night.
The win saw Cosmos top the play-off league table with seven points, the same as Leopards, but with a superior goal difference.
Mumuni played every single match for his side in the regular season and play-offs.
