Harry Kane has reached an agreement in principle with Bayern Munich to extend his contract until the summer of 2029, with the German club completing the final paperwork, according to Sky Sports.
The England striker joined Bayern from Tottenham in 2023 and has scored 154 goals in 156 appearances for the Munich side.
Kane has continued his prolific form during the 2025-26 season, scoring 36 goals in 31 Bundesliga matches and 14 goals in 13 Champions League games. He has also scored 12 times for England, including six goals at the World Cup.
The 32-year-old and his family are said to be happy with their life in Munich, and that satisfaction has contributed to the decision to continue his time at Bayern.
Since arriving at the club, Kane has won the German championship twice, as well as the German Cup and German Super Cup. He has also claimed the Golden Boot twice and finished as the Bundesliga’s leading scorer in three consecutive seasons.
His goalscoring record in 2025-26 has strengthened his position among the contenders for the Ballon d’Or. The winner of the award will be announced at a ceremony at London’s Palladium at the end of October.
