Hakan Calhanoglu was absent as Inter came from behind to beat Udinese 5-3 at home in Serie A because of a muscle injury, according to insider Nicolo Schira.
The Turkey midfielder did not feature for the Nerazzurri in the match and is due to undergo a medical examination in the coming days. The assessment will determine the extent of the injury and his condition.
Calhanoglu, 32, has made three appearances in Serie A this season and has scored two goals.
Inter have collected 12 points and sit second in the Serie A table.
