Dutch-born Ghanaian brothers Edwin and Raymond Gyasi have started making great impact at Roda JC Kerkrade in the Dutch Eerste Divisie as they helped them to win 2-0 against FC Eindhoven on Friday.

The brothers were both in action at the Jan Louwers Stadion in the Dutch second-tier league. Edwin - the elder of the two started the game before Raymond joined the fray 13 minutes from normal time.

Edwin who played full throttle in the game had a hand in Mitchell Paulissen's opening goal on the hour mark and Raymond's introduction in the 77th added more bite to his side's attack.

At 20, Raymond is well known in the Netherlands for his extraordinary abilities on the ball and picked several youth awards while at AZ Alkmaar.

Edwin was the first player to arrive at Roda JC in the winter transfer window after deciding against staying at Heracles Almelo in the Eredivisie.

Raymond followed suit after failing in a two-season attempt to break into the AZ Alkmaar first team squad.

Edwin feels its rewarding on his decision to join Roda JC and his younger brother Raymond is primed to succeed along him.

"It was a great win for us and the two of us are happy. It's great to play alongside each other. His [Raymond] qualities are great for everybody to see and I'm delighted about my decision to move here," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
