Guinea U-23 head coach, Morlaye Cisse has glutted about him team’s draw against the Olympic Eagles of Nigeria on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Cisse claimed his team played well but his side should have scored a goal away at the MKO Abiola Stadium on Wednesday.
The game ended goalless with Nigerian on the edge of their seat follow a red card to defender Christopher Nwaeze.
Ahead of the game, Cisse is hopeful his team will get the job done in the return leg.
“A very positive and somewhat bitter analysis given the number of chances we had in this match. Not punishing them remains a taste of unfinished business,” he told Feguifoot.com via Daily Post
“But, I am very happy with the boys on the commitment, the motivation and the state of mind that they put on this match. I hope we will be able to reproduce the same thing for the return match.
