The management of Gombe United Fc has approved a 10- day mid-season break to allow the players participate in the forthcoming General Elections scheduled for this weekend.
While urging the players to ensure maintaining their fitness in the course of the break, the Technical Adviser of the club, Aliyu Zubairu explained that they are expected to resume on Match 2,2023, so as to prepare well for the second round of the league.
The Savannah Scorpions rounded up their 2023 NPFL first round camping with a hard fought 3-2 win over Plateau United at the Pantami stadium, Gombe.
