Nigeria National League side Gombe United unveils Coach Abdullahi Tyabo Umar as it's new Technical Adviser, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The former assistant coach of Akwa Utd is expected to secure a Super 8 ticket and return the team to the Nigeria professional football league, NPFL.
This comes after the management of Gombe United FC announced that it has parted ways with its Technical Adviser, Bala Nkiyu, by mutual consent.
He will take the reins of the team until the end of the 2024/2025 NNL season.
Gombe United is third on the Conference C log with 9 points after 6 matches.
