The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will have it’s representatives in Uyo on when Wednesday for the inspection of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
CAF have before now disclosed the idea of a Super League which comprises of six teams and the international stadium has been ticked to host some matches.
To this effect the African football governing body will by tomorrow land in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria to inspect the stadium.
CAF president, Patrice Motsepe in 2022 proposed a Super League for top clubs in Africa on May 22.
The competition will replace the old CAF Champions League.
