Juventus Sporting Director, Cristiano Giuntoli, has denied reports that the club is interested in signing Victor Osimhen, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.
Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli and has a €75 million exit clause.
Despite previous links between Osimhen and Juventus, Giuntoli insists that the club is not pursuing the Nigeria international.
Interestingly, Giuntoli was instrumental in Osimhen's transfer to Napoli from Lille when he was the Italian club's sporting director.
"I’m not interested in Osimhen. The rumours that you read in the Italian media are only to put pressure on us,” he told Derin Football.
Giuntoli's comments suggest that Juventus may not be willing to meet Osimhen's €75 million release clause, or that the club's priorities lie elsewhere in the transfer market.
