Ghana's U-20 to play final warm-up game against Iran today

Published on: 03 March 2015

Ghana’s Under-20 team will wrap up their preparations for the 2015 African Youth Championship with an international friendly against Iran today (Tuesday).

The Black Satellites are currently in Turkey, trimming the rough edges ahead of the start of the tournament on March 8.

The Ghanaians will hope to end their two-week stay in the European country on the high after beating Azerbaijan 2-1 in a similar exercise last Saturday.

Ghana are housed in group B where they will play Zambia, Mali and South Africa.

The team will open their campaign with a tricky tie against South Africa before meeting Zambia and Mali.
