Ghanaian youth international Eugene Ansah has expressed delight at his goal for Belgian side Lokeren as they hammered French Ligue 1 giants Lille OSC in a pre-season friendly.

Ansah, 20, headed Lokeren 3-1 into the game at the Daknamstadion as the Pro League outfit stepped up their pre-season campaign.

"Lille is a big club and it feels good to score in the pre-season especially against a good side," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"I hope to improve and carry my form into the season," he added.

Ansah enjoyed limited action with Lokeren last season as he was mostly pecked into Lokeren's second string side where he bagged 20 goals in 22 games.

He is a former Liberty Professionals youth team player.
