REVEALED: The world's top 20 DAFTEST football team names
Ghanaian side MYSTERIOUS DWARFS are top of the league - of daftest sounding football team names in the world according the a recent survey.
Chicken Inn, who turn out in the Premier League of Zimbabwe, come home in second.
The plucky outfit are named after a fast food chain in the African country headed by Robert Mugabe.
Other contenders for the title included Deportivo Moron, who play in the Argentinian Primera B, and Big Bullets, who play in Malawi's Super League.
Ones which slipped by the wayside - either due to merging with other teams of simply stopping playing - are Deportivo Wanka, who played in the Peruvian league and Dangerous Darkies, who played in South Africa.
They were banned from the league after moving their stadium to the Cerro de Pasco, the highest city in the world at an altitude of nearly 14,000ft above sea level, leaving it almost impossible for other teams to play without suffering altitude sickness.
Dangerous Darkies merged with another team in the 1990s to become the Black Aces, who play in the Premier Soccer League in South Africa.
The top 20 list was revealed this week after an online poll of more than 1,000 fans by stats expert Mark White.
