Cagliari youngster Godfred Donsah admits he is flattered to be linked with a move to Manchester City.

According to reports in Italy, the 18-year-old midfielder is a summer target for the current Premier League champions.

And the Ghanaian youngster claims it is good to be linked with a switch to England even if he is happy at Cagliari.

“I'm happy that an observer from Manchester City was here to watch me, but I'm happy here and we're a great group.” he told Sky Sport Italia after their 2-1 defeat to Inter Milan on Monday.

"Inter are a great team, they punished us as soon as we made a mistake. I'm inspired by Essien when he played for Chelsea.” he concluded.

The Ghanaian youngster is thriving under the management of Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola at Cagliari.

The former Hellas Verona enforcer is tied to Cagliari until 2018.

Why Sillas refused to call to this guy is beyond me. This is a player who could make things so easy for the team.
