Ghanaian international midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei cemented the win for DR Congo giants TP Mazembe as they registered an impressive 2-0 win over Egyptian Premier League side FC Smouha in the CAF Champions League on Friday. 

The 26-year-old box-to-box midfielder sealed the points for Patrice Carteron as they recorded their first win in three games to go top of the Group A table.

Zambia international Reinford Kalaba had shot the visitors ahead at the Alexandria Stadium in Alexandria.

The goal marks the former Asante Kotoko captain's first strike for the Ravens in their campaign.

While he started the game alongside former Kotoko team-mate Yaw Frimpong, Solomon Asante and Richard Kissi-Boateng were unused by French gaffer who won the game pants down.
