Former Ghana U20 star Gershon Koffie has joined his MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps for pre-season training.
Koffie is preparing for his fifth year at the club and ready to play a commanding role this term.
The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury last season which sidelined him for about two months.
In 2013, Koffie obtained his permanent residency card from Citizenship and Immigration Canada and has agreed to a contract extension.
This qualified him as a domestic player for MLS roster purposes.
