Congo based Ghana schemer Solomon Asante will arrive in camp for Ghana’s AFCON 2015 qualifiers against Mauritius on Sunday.
The 25 year old is one of the few players yet to join the team as they step up preparations for the 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Mauritius.
Asante has had another cracking season with TP Mazembe where he helped them to a second place finish in the Congolese league and competing for a place in the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
“I had to wait and play in a game on Friday before leaving for Ghana,” Asante told GHANAsoccernet.com
“I am confident I will arrive in camp by Sunday.”
The Black Stars will take on Muritius on the 14 of June but before that they will take on the Hawks of Togo on Monday the 8th of June as part of preparations for the game
