Ghana U23 suffer narrow defeat against Mozambique in All African Games qualifier
Ghana lost against Mozambique

Ghana U23 side - the Black Meteors slipped to a narrow 1-0 loss against Mozambique in a first-leg All African Games qualifier on Saturday afternoon in Maputo.

Ghana coach Malik Jabir named a strong side featuring Sassuolo's Raman Chibsah and Free State Stars' Abdul Basit but they were put to the sword in the Southeastern African country.

The Meteors conceded the goal as the host piled the pressure and showed more energy and effort in their bid to win the match before their home fans.

But the win did not look comfortable enough to help them feel okay coming into the second-leg which will be staged in Accra in a fortnight time.
