Moses Odjer picked up the injury while in action for Catania

Ghanaian midfielder Moses Odjer suffered an unspecified injury in Catania’s 1-0 win over Avellino in the Italian second tier match played on Sunday.

The 18-year-old was hurled off in the 69th minute after suffering the injury.

Odjer was replaced by Argentine Gonzalo Escalante in the game played at the Stadio Angelo Massimino.

Catania however held on to the 1-0 lead given them in the 43rd minute by Emmanuele Calaio.

The Ghana U20 star is expected to undergo tests on Monday to ascertain the severity of the injury sustained.

    I wish you speedy recovery...A fully fit Odjer should be part of the U20 WC.Together with Clifford Aboagye and Micheal Anaba spiced with the dexterity of Yaw Yeboah,I dont see why the Black Satellite will not bring the cup.
