Ghana U20 forward Benjamin Tetteh is set to undergo medicals at Belgian side Standard Liege who are poised to beat competition to land him, according to reports in the Ghanaian media.

The 18-year-old arrived in the Belgian city of Liege on Friday morning and will undergo medicals on Saturday and sign a four-year-contract if he passes fit, according to Football Made In Ghana.

Tetteh, who scored for Ghana against Argentina at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand, underwent trials with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mon'gladbach but left to join Liege.

If the youngster successfully passes his medicals and signs the proposed four-year-contract, the Dreams FC player will quickly join the rest of the club's squad in Austria along with former Olympique Lyon striker Mohammed Yattara who will also undergo medicals on Saturday.
