The team of journalists from African Football put their heads together to select 11 players as well as a few on the bench to make up the African Football Team of the Week for 13-15 March 2015 including Ghana striker Jordan Ayew.

5-Joel Matip (Cameroon & Schalke) Matip netted in Schalke’s 2-2 draw with Hetha Berlin.
6- Gianelli Imbula (eligible for DRC & Marseilles) Gianelli Imbula had a great game for his club against Lyon. He is still eligible to play for Belgium, France or DR Congo.
7- Max Gradel (Ivory Coast & Saint-Etienne) Gradel continued his exceptional form for Saint-Etienne, scoring the opening goal in their 3-2 away win over Metz in France’s Ligue 1 on Saturday.
8-Jordan Ayew (Ghana & Lorient) Jordan Ayew found the back of the net and provided a vital assist to help Lorient beat Caen 2-1.
9-Brown Ideye (Nigeria & West Brom) The Nigerian forward scored the winner against Stoke City with a very good header.
10-Vincent Aboubakar (Cameroon & FC Porto) Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar scored FC Porto’s only goal of their victory over Arouca on Sunday.
11-Sadio Mane (Senegal & Southampton) Sadio Mane played a key role for Southampton in their 1-1 draw against English Premier League leaders Chelsea on Sunday.
