Ghana Premier League- Match Report: Champions Asante Kotoko end first round with 4-0 thumping of Heart of Lions

Asante Kotoko recorded their best ever win this season with a convincing 4-0 win over Heart of Lions in Kumasi on Wednesday to end the first round of the season.

It was a sleek performance from the Porcupine Warriors who continue to remain unbeaten under David Duncan.

Kotoko scored two goals in two minutes through Ahmed Toure and Prince Baffoe in the 21st and 23rd minutes respectively.

Striker Latif Amadu made it 3-0 before the break to kill of Lions’ threat.

After the break, left-back Emmanuel Asante rounded up the goalkeeper Mozart Adjetey and passed the ball into the net for the goal.
